As Ekaragha says, comedy does tend to stay in your head longer. I believe that comedy as a way of presenting media is one of the most impactful, especially in film. Politics throughout history has always been critiqued in a comedic form, with the creation of political satire. This is an approach that I would like to incorporate in my short film if I choose to address serious topics. In my opinion, the best type of films are both enjoyable and impactful.
